To sign up, visit myWalgreens, download the Walgreens App and hit join or visit the in-store checkout. You’ll need to provide a ZIP code and phone number to join. There’s no physical myWalgreens loyalty card, it’s digital only.

Yes, the myWalgreens loyalty program is free to join and there’s no ongoing membership fee.

Earning Walgreens Cash Rewards

Earn Walgreens cash online by signing in to myWalgreens before you purchase. Earn in-store by providing the phone number you used to register. Alternatively, add a payment method to your Walgreens Wallet (Walgreens App) and you’ll be given a barcode to pay and earn Walgreens Cash in-store.

Walgreens Cash Rewards are earned on the amount paid after discounts and coupons, before sales tax. Any points earned should appear within 48 hours.

Can I Earn An Unlimited Amount of Walgreens Cash Rewards?

There’s no limit on your Walgreens Cash Rewards balance but there are some limits you can run into. You can earn up to $50 per transaction and $100 per day. You can also only earn up to $65/year specifically from Prescription/Pharmacy Reward Promotions.

Redeeming Walgreens Cash Rewards

You can redeem Walgreens Cash Rewards in-store or online once you’ve provided an email or home address. Add via your myWalgreens profile (online or app).

• Redeem In-Store - Provide Phone Number or Scan Walgreens Wallet Barcode > Use Cash Rewards > Immediate Deduction

• Redeem Online - Sign in to myWalgreens > Checkout > Use Cash Rewards > Deducted Once Shipped

Cash Rewards are deducted from the total after discounts, coupons and sales tax and you can only redeem them in the following increments:

Do Walgreens Cash Rewards Expire?

Yes, Cash Rewards expire 12 months after they’re earned but if you’ve not spent any Cash Rewards in 6 months, your account will be deemed inactive and all rewards will expire. There’s no reason to save up Cash Rewards. If you have them, I’d recommend spending them when you make your next in-store or online purchase.

What Happens To Walgreens Cash If You Return An Item?

If you earn Walgreens Cash Rewards on a item and later return it, any rewards that you earned will be deducted from your account.

If you spend Walgreens Cash on an item in-store and then later return it, you’ll be refunded in store credit. If it was an online/app order, your Walgreens Cash Rewards will be refunded back to your account.

myWalgreens Benefit - Unlock Sale Prices

You need to be a myWalgreens member to benefit from Walgreens Sale Prices. Just sign in when shopping at Walgreens.com or scan your myWalgreens barcode/provide the phone number associated with your account in-store.

Do You Still Get Walgreens Register Rewards?

Yes! Walgreens still do Register Rewards (RR) in addition to myWalgreens. Register Rewards are coupons that occasionally print at the checkout. You can use them in conjunction with Walgreens and Manufacturers coupons but you can only use 1 RR per offer per transaction.

In addition to myWalgreens and Register Rewards, Walgreens also offer Jingle Cash the 1st two weeks after Thanksgiving as well as regular coupons.

MyWalgreens Credit Card - Boost Rewards

MyWalgreens members can apply for a myWalgreens Credit Card (use at Walgreens or Duane Reade) or a myWalgreens Mastercard (use anywhere that accepts Mastercard). Both come with boosted Walgreens Cash Rewards:

Since it’s free, there’s no reason not to join myWalgreens and take advantage of the Cash Rewards and Sale Prices. I’d recommend using your Cash Rewards when you can as there’s no reason to save them up. Plus, there is a risk that you’ll lose them if you go 6 months without redeeming any.
