7 Day Max Free Trial With Discovery+ Content Via Prime
Get 7 Days of Max free on Prime if you’re a Prime member. Max includes HBO and Discovery+ content ad-free. Your subscription will auto-renew at $15.99/month unless canceled.

Does Discovery+ Offer A Student or Military Discount?
Discovery+ does not currently offer a student or military discount. They used to offer 40% off for students and active/reservist/veteran military members but those discounts aren’t currently available.

First, take advantage of all of the Discovery+ free trials on this page. You’re not limited to a trial on one platform.
If ads don’t bother you and you’re looking to keep costs down, go with the ad-supported version. If you’re a Max (HBO Max) fan, consider a Max subscription since that includes all the Max and Discovery+ content.
In any case, if you want to save the most money, I’d always recommend cycling your streaming services. Subscribe, binge-watch, cancel, switch to another service, repeat. Keep those overlapping subscriptions to a minimum and you’ll save a lot over time.
